Coach, Educator, and Mentor

Nick Griffin, aka Coach Griff, lives in LaGrange, Georgia with his amazing wife and two children. He is a Site Coordinator at Communities in Schools of Georgia in Troup County. The impetus behind the transformation of many kids he serves, his students publish their poetry, stories, and artwork in books created by POPS the Club of The Pathfinder Network.. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Coach Griff was a Special Education Emotional Behavior Disorder teacher and has a Ph.D. in Special Education from Liberty University. He coaches middle school football, a state champion high school adaptive sports team, and youth track and field. He tutors students, counsels incarcerated adolescents, and serves as a church volunteer. A member of the Troup County community organization HYPE, Georgia STOMP, Communities in Schools of Georgia’s State Training Team, and Leadership Troup, Coach Griff wrote LaStrange and writes and performs music.
