Lainie Watson

Director of People and Culture

Lainie joined The Pathfinder Network in August 2021. As Director of People and Culture, Lainie oversees the agency’s people operations and talent and culture development. To Lainie, work in human resources is about creatively working to reduce barriers and holistically support staff, who are the heartbeat of the work TPN does, so they can continue to provide services to individuals and families.

Prior to joining TPN, Lainie worked in both the private and non-profit sectors in human resources and administration roles. In her previous roles, she developed processes and policies that provided holistic support to staff and improved organizational outcomes. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on interpersonal and intercultural communication.

Outside of work, Lainie spends her free time traveling, trying new restaurants in Portland’s ever-changing food scene, paddleboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends and family, especially her nephews.
