Danny Alvarado, a native of Southern California, has been working in healthcare for 16 years, a journey that began at 18 when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. When Danny was young, his father was incarcerated, and he remembers the embarrassment and shame of growing up with a father behind bars. His goal is to help break the stigma of having incarcerated loved ones, and he would like to see programs throughout the U.S. bring awareness to this critical issue. Danny holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and an MHA from Ohio University.
