Anye Young

Artist and Author

Anye Young will graduate with a major in Dramatic Arts from USC in spring 2023. She is an advocate for prison reform wrote the book Teen Guide to Living with Incarcerated Parents, published when she was 16. She has since shared the story of her experiences as the child of a father serving a 12-year prison sentence to help other teens in similar situations overcome shame they may feel due to social stigma, and upon graduation plans to be an actor, director and to continue her work as an advocate, speaker and producer of a documentary KIDS LIKE ME.
