Jennifer Pinera Beck

Director of Finance

Jennifer began working for The Pathfinder Network in August 2018. As Director of Finance, Jennifer oversees the agency’s financial functions. She has developed and supported staff members in maintaining internal financial and operational policies and procedures and also prepares the agency’s monthly and annual financial reports for divisions and external partners. Jennifer has also supported the agency’s HR department in its day-to-day functions.

Jennifer has over a decade of experience guiding nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining TPN, she served in accounting and finance positions with Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, Friends of the Children, the YMCA of San Francisco, and the Asian American Writers Workshop. She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Women’s Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine and a certificate in accounting from the City University of New York, Baruch College.

While working at TPN, Jennifer’s major accomplishments include creating internal financial accounting and payroll systems to facilitate program and funder reporting. She has also implemented policies and procedures to support the organization’s daily functions to comply with government and funder requirements, in order to ensure TPN can support justice-system impacted individuals and families transition and thrive in their communities. Jennifer is proud to leverage her experience to help TPN achieve its goals.

Jennifer’s free time is spent with her partner Brian and their havanese, Simon. She also enjoys listening to music, reading books, and playing games with friends and family.
